Why do people put "Ichor gore warnings" on their posts?

Ive been seeing a few OC posts with twisted designs. But they put "Ichor gore warning" at the end of it. My question is, why would they put that there if the twisteds' whole design is to substitute Ichor for blood? Like, Finn is bleeding out of his legs. If you make posts with that warning, could you please explain?
