Are we officially NC?

I last saw my mom in May and last had a text convo in October - I texted her the obligatory merry Christmas greeting, which she read and then never replied. I could see her last online status on Whatsapp so I know she's just been ignoring me. No message on new years day, no message on her birthday (just passed). I'm not really sure how to handle it. I would love to go NC but it wasn't something I ever imagined my mom would initiate, and now I feel like I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I'm always so nervous when I get a notification because I swear she always catches me off guard. I don't even know what I'm trying to ask for here but I'm just terrified lol
