What is it about top lane that makes you guys go absolutely insane?

Disclaimer: I don't play top lane, I play adc/mid and I play in Emerald league but demand some answers from you guys

I wanted to ask top laners why they just run it down so hard when they are weak side, or losing, or in a bad matchup, outmatched, etc.

It's very rare I see a top laner die and then just play safe. They almost always double down and try to duel again... and again... and again, to then suddenly the enemy Tahm Kench has 7 kills at 10 minutes and my ass playing Jhin is fucking cooked.

It's not even necessarily my teammate inting, it happens in the reverse as well where my top laner just gets giga fed and I watch the enemy adc running for his life against a 10-0 garen.

But for example: I could be playing a 5 kill bot lane Aphelios, be up 40 cs and they are playing something super snowbally like Draven Pyke and my top laner just will keep running it down and chain feeding the enemy Sett to just make the game unplayable. Situations like this happen all. the. time. Like what are you doing? Sorry your lane sucks but I have 5 kills on Aphelios, the game is pretty much over, you won the game as long as you don't literally create Thanos on the enemy team.

I'm sure you guys will say it's the opposite and it's the bot lane that always does this, sure you could be right, but I want to know from your perspective what happens top lane that makes you guys just tilt off the planet. Like the first 5 duels you lost, and now the enemy top laner is up a full item and 3 levels, maybe dueling him again into his minion wave isn't the best idea? WHY MAN, this happens so consistently I just want some answers on what is going on. There's a pattern!

I genuinely am wondering from top players what happens to their mental because it's almost always top that will just chain feed and they don't give a fuck.
