Air France vs. Air Canada
My mom and I are planning a trip to Morocco in May, and we’re trying to figure out the best way to get there. One option is flying Delta/Air France from Atlanta (my home base) to Paris and then on to Casablanca. My mom is in Indiana, so she’d meet me in Atlanta.
The other option is Air Canada. We’d both have to get ourselves to Montreal, but from there it’s a direct flight to Casablanca. Mom wants to fly First Class, and Air Canada is about $2,000 cheaper per ticket.
I’ve flown Air France First Class before and had a wonderful experience. I’ve never flown Air Canada, though, and everything I’ve read makes it sound…fine, but not great. A friend of mine flew them internationally to Japan and said it was one of the most uncomfortable flights he’s ever had, seat comfort, food, everything. So I’m a little hesitant, even with the price difference.
What do you think?
