Passport renewal application help

Hi, I have applied for my passport renewal which is expiring start of June.

I have applied under Tatkaal.

I provided all correct documents for Tatkaal, except that i mailed a copy of document checklist meant for regular application (normal processing).

VFS processed the application within a day and forwarded it to the SF consulate. I even checked with them if it’s okay that i provided wrong copy of the checklist and they said that it doesn’t matter and the application is still Tatkaal.

My application has been “under review” for almost 5 days now which is not expected with Tatkaal processing especially since my information has not changed from my previous passport.

Could the checklist cause delay in processing at the embassy?
