Stubhub tickets at LCA. Please help!

Discussion

There are 9 or 10 of us going to the Wings vs Sharks game this Friday for my brother’s birthday. I bought 8 good tickets in section 107 a few weeks ago before the prices went way up. I got on today to see about buying 1 or 2 more close to those and right at 1pm a bunch of awesome tickets became available for around face value on stubhub and Gametime. I assumed they released corporate tickets that didn’t get sold or something like that. I bought 5 in a row in section 109 row 12 and 5 in 109 row 11 on Gametime because they weren’t much more expensive than what we paid for 107 but 109 is the all you can eat and drink seats. The plan was to put the section 107 tickets on sale right away and take a small loss if need be. 20 minutes later I get an email saying there was a problem with my purchase and I’ve been fully refunded. I assumed it was my credit card on Gametime was expired or something like that. I got on stubhub and instantly bought the same tickets in 109. Those now say they won’t be released by the event organizer until the day of the game. I haven’t ever had that message before and have bought a handful of times on stubhub. I am hesitant to put my tickets in 107 on the market in case stubhub cancels on me like Gametime did but they don’t do it until game day. Then we would be stuck with 0 tickets for 10 of us to a high demand event. I also don’t want to try and sell 8 tickets in 107 at the last minute if stubhub comes through an hour before the game. We are all coming from several hours away or more and don’t want to have to get upper bowl tickets that are overpriced last minute if stubhub says they don’t have them and tries to refund me instead. Can anyone please give me some insight on this? Does stubhub ever sell tickets the just refund them? Anyone ever had anything similar happen before? Thank you very much for your help!
