I accepted a job offer at an independent agency since the previous agency was a dumpster fire, and I was scared of being laid off.

It’s been a month and a half in the new gig I’m having my doubts. I was told there was balance and flexibility. That appealed to me since I’m a mom. Work is somewhat manageable, but my manager is a yes-person and agrees to a fast turnaround, and I noticed the expectation is to be “on” all the time.

I was told I would be working on one brand, and now I’m being introduced to multiple brands with the expectation of managing them. Idk if I have it in me anymore to work in the agency world anymore. Trying to give it 6 months.

What are my options to explore other roles? Idk if I want to do Pharma anymore; the aggressive timelines and stress take a toll on me. I have 10+ years of client service experience, with a heavy focus on digital.
