Inventor with Investigator Archetype. Best Options for a Low DaS roll?

New to PF2 and thinking about an Inventor with Investigator Archetype but struggling to come up with ideas of what to do with a low Devise a Stratagem roll.

Obviously there’s attack another target but looking for other options.

Tamper synergizes very well with Skill Stratagem but then I can’t attack it so the off-guard would only be for my teammates.

Megavolt seems good but would need to be lined up well with other enemies to feel worth it?

What are some other ideas/suggestions out there?
