You ever find out that a character/class/game/mechanic/etc... you love is apparently generally disliked? Wanna vent about it?

I just found out that a good chunk of FE fans don't like armored units and I am heartbroken! My knights, my generals, my big beefy walls that I love and always use; PEOPLE HATE THEM!? I never knew...

Have you guys ever experienced this, whether in Fire Emblem or any other game I guess? You love something but later you find out it's generally not liked? Just thought it would be fun for people to vent and have a pitty party, lol.
