Contemplating partial hysterectomy
While obviously my endometriosis and adenomyosis are strongly suspected but can’t be fully confirmed without a laparoscopy, my doctors recommended a partial hysterectomy and the removal of my right ovary.
Over the past year, my period has gotten more and more infrequent but the monthly pain is so severe, it has turns into contraction like pain that comes in waves every 5-10 minutes and ends finally with diarrhea.
I am never not exhausted. I wake up every single day feeling like it’s the first day of my period, with that heavy foggy feeling no matter how much I sleep, sore and tender breasts, and a fullness in my belly that is worse on the right side because of a multi cystic ovary that is no longer ovulating.
I normally have a flat, toned tummy that is now constantly hard and puffy.
I am desperate for relief and nothing seems to work. I take a ton of supplements, eat clean, try to move my body with yoga and Pilates as much as I can, and I’m not sure what else I can do aside from get this uterus and ovary out of me asap.
Has anyone had this done? Has anyone had these symptoms? This is so isolating and frustrating.
TIA for any support or recommendations 🩷
