I caused this, will he come back?

So I’ve been with my boyfriend for 3 years, we met through the lowest time of his life and my life, we were initially only friends because I was in another relationship/situation that was failing, that made him depressed because the whole time I didn’t know he wanted to be with me, anyways one night we just both said we always had a thing for each other and ever since then we’ve been a couple. Anyways we bonded over our problems and he treated me like I was everything to him, he did tell me I was the only one who understood him and he prayed for me constantly (he’s very religious). I met his family and he took care of me emotionally and financially he basically put me first in everything, I thought at first maybe it was too good to be true but he has been the same for years. Anyways, we have been long distance about 3 hours from each other, I started noticing a few months ago that he was getting a little bit emotionally unavailable, as in there were certain things that he did/say that bothered me, he was going through a lot of stress due to recent death in his family and it made sense but he wasn’t talking about it, I really noticed the shift there. Anyways another issue is his dad being sick, he had always told me that he plans on moving to see his dad but I never thought he was serious about it, about a week ago, he did tell me that he plans to leave to go to his dad’s country to spend time with him. I talked to his dad before and he is diagnosed with cancer, I did ask him if he plans on coming back and he said no and that I should come with him i told him no that I have my life and family here and I asked him well how are we supposed to make this relationship work? He said that I can visit him every few months I said no if ur not planning on coming back were done and he was really upset, he has always told me in the past that he fears losing me. Anyways, I got really upset and I told him that he never told me this was going to be a serious move and that I will never forgive him, he asked me what he did wrong and I didn’t reply. It’s now been 3 days with no message from him. I’m very upset.
