MAC employees aren’t helpful
I just wanted to rant about my experience today at a stand alone MAC cosmetics store. I walked in the store there were no customers but me and 2 employees slouched on the register counter area talking. They said hi when i walked in and i greeted them back with hi and a smile. The entire time i was in the store (which was about 10 minutes) not once did they check on me or ask if i needed help when i was swatching foundations on my face. They were talking to each other about ulta, stranger things and brush sets. I didnt want to give either of them the commission of my sale since they were useless so i left. When i walked out they didnt even say bye lol! Dont they work on commission? Dont they want money? Ive worked in sales for 13 years i never judge someone by how they look. I was in scrubs so maybe i looked like i didnt know anything about makeup. I dont typically need help in a makeup store but at MAC you have to ask for help so they can get the product for you and i wasnt about to interrupt their important stranger things conversation. Anyone else have these type of experiences?
