Doctor found multiple lumps in my right breast.
I’m 24, and I found a pea sized lump in my breast in September of last year. I sort of forgot about it (due to familial issues) until this week and when I felt of it again, it has grown to grape sized. I had my annual OBGYN appointment today anyways, so I mentioned it to my doctor and he did a breast exam. He says he feels multiple, including the one I can feel, but I do still only feel the one whereas he feels more. The growing lump is the upper inner quadrant and the others he felt is the lower outer quadrant.
I did not mention this to my doctor, as I didn’t think about it at the time, but my nipple on the same breast will invert itself when I am lying down. It does not stay that way, and everts itself when I sit/stand up. But it didn’t used to do that. This breast also bruises really easily and currently has a bruise where I’ve felt around, but I haven’t been pressing hard. There’s a TINY dent in my breast, but only when standing with my arms down by my sides, on the underside of my boob, inner quadrant.
Of course, I’ve went down the rabbit hole and I’m very scared now, but my doctor did reassure me that it’s rare for someone my age to have breast cancer. I will have an ultrasound scheduled soon, once the breast center calls me with my referral.
Any ideas?
