Not a SINGLE offer? What am I doing wrong?

Hi everybody. I started doordashing today (SF Bay Area - Dublin/Pleasanton area), and had some success early in the day with two lowbie orders (~$5 each). Since then though, I've had absolutely NO luck whatsoever getting offers for hours.

I've driven through multiple zones, signed up for a peak pay shift (+$3 - very busy) during the 6pm shift and have driven in circles around hotspots for over an hour. Nothing, absolutely nothing, even though the clock shows a 2-12 minute wait between orders. I feel humiliated and I'm wasting gas.

What am I doing wrong? Does exiting the app harm my chances of getting orders (I'm on android)? Any advice to this newbie would be greatly appreciated.
