Haircuts in school vs real world

So im sure majority of people here know what is taught in school is very different in real world. Yes they give you the basics to do hair. BUT im already a week into a stylist position and learning so much more for haircuts.

At school they would check your work speically if they knew you struggled with something, etc. But the last few months alot of my teachers wouldnt really check and would just say it looks great and didnt need to be fixed. Now at work im getting stuff checked till my manager and I are both comfortable with my work. Im noticing things that normally wouldnt be checked at school or different ways to blend and remove weight that school just didn't teach. I wouldnt say any of my cut have major problems either just weight mainly. Which I do know there is a million ways to do one haircut... but damn I wish school taught us more.

Or im wondering if im having more little details need to fixed cause of: -lack of education for certain things -not cutting hair in a couple months -not doing men's cuts for months cause I reached my quote so fast "cause I was the go to men's cuts" -being anxious so overthinking my work and not going slower to get it perfected -difference in checks school was just doing basic checks and not in depth and now work is doing very in depth checks

OR just a shit combo of all of these.

Could really use some advice on how to get these details down and anything that helped you alot when you first started as a fresh stylist. I am taking all the feedback shes giving me and incorporating it before asking her to check. I think alot just comes with time and practice
