How to prepare for English??

I've finished all my required english homework but what should I do to further excel and prepare? We are doing sunset boulevard first and then later in the year the memory police

I'm aiming for a 40+SS and I've always been somewhat good at english and above average with not a lot of effort but I'm really looking to excel in it,
