Polisci major (CAS), white girl from NYC at a huge public school, low income; 3.6 uw gpa (all IB classes, downward trend but lots of extenuating circumstances); 1580 SAT (800 R&W, 780 M).

I have two national/international awards, two local ones, and NMS; main extra-curriculars are congressional internship, nationally ranked for debate and captain of debate team, several policy internships, and music (accepted to Juilliard precollege but didn't attend; I have a portfolio but NYU doesn't accept), lots of community service!

Recommendations from two teachers who know me very well and a Columbia prof I interend for!

Very proud of my essays but my gpa might be a concern and I heard they are need aware and factor that quite heavily. super nervous for decisions to come out; do I have a chance?
