[M4A] Seeking longterm writers!
⸻
My name is [Redacted], and I’ve been writing on and off for the past decade. That includes both solo storytelling and collaborating to build in-depth, engaging worlds with others who share the same passion for writing. I consider myself a fairly literate, detail-oriented writer who enjoys creating immersive and entertaining stories with like-minded partners.
I primarily write in third person, though there’s some flexibility depending on the situation. One thing I value strongly in my writing is substance. I have little interest in low-effort, rapid-fire replies that exist only to rush a story toward erotica. I prefer slow, thoughtful, and engaging progression—even if that means it takes a month or more to naturally reach intimate scenes.
My replies typically range from four to twelve paragraphs and often push, or even exceed, Discord’s character limit. Length ultimately depends on the scene and the writing partner I’m working with.

I’m currently looking for writers interested in creating a slow-burn romance—one that explores the complexities of real life while still allowing room for heartwarming, simple, and meaningful romantic moments.
The story would follow two main characters, with side characters introduced as it develops.
M/C is a famous and successful athlete navigating the challenges that come with newfound attention and fame. Y/C is a shy, ordinary girl simply trying to make the most of the life she has. She doesn’t seek luxury or extravagance; she’s content with who she is and the world she knows.
This concept can also be flipped—Y/C as a pop star and M/C as an ordinary guy. I’ll be sharing ideas based on the original setup, but I’m more than open to switching things around if that interests you.
Maybe they meet at a local charity event, a small café, or through an accidental collision on a busy street. Y/C doesn’t see M/C for his fame or fortune. Instead, she notices the quiet details others overlook—the way his eyes light up when he laughs, or how his presence brings her an unexpected sense of peace. Over time, they begin to fall for one another. But what happens when she finally discovers the part of his life he’s been too afraid to show her?
Fame has left M/C wary of people’s intentions. Too often, connections came with expectations—money, status, or the image of being “his” girlfriend. Genuine connection became rare, and trust even rarer.

If you’re interested, please send a detailed message outlining a few ideas you’d like to bring to the story. Creativity and collaboration are important to me. Feel free to describe your literacy level, or include a writing sample if you have one—though this isn’t required.
Lastly, share a small fun fact about yourself to show you’ve read through everything and agree with my standards.
