Managing Tags on the Smartwriting app

I am trying to remove the pre-set tags (blue, red, yellow etc) from my tag menu on the Moleskine Smart Writing App and everything i research tells me I should be able to do it from the search menu or from the hamburger menu but Tags don't come up as an option. When I can open the Tags menu it says I should have the three dots which I can then edit or remove but this is not coming up for me either. Does anyone else have this problem and is there a workaround?
