Reconsiderations and reviews question

I had a quick question: has anyone here been able to get their papers reconsidered and had their grades bumped up slightly to pass a certain mark? I'm waiting until the marked exam papers are released to us next week to see, but was wondering whether Level 2 Bio (any papers) is worth doing a reconsideration from a merit to an excellence - especially if it hits the 18 mark, 1 mark just below the cut score for excellence?
