The United States is undergoing a fascist takeover.

Not "showing warning signs of." It is happening now.

On January 6, 2021, a mob stormed the Capitol to overturn a democratic election. They came within feet of members of Congress. They wanted to kill representatives and install Trump by force. It failed.

What we're witnessing now is the successful seizure of power from inside the system. They learned from the failure and adapted.

The Nazi imagery isn't accidental or "awkward." Musk's salute at the inauguration. His endorsement of Germany's far-right AfD party days before Holocaust Remembrance Day, telling Germans to move past "guilt." Bannon replicating the salute at CPAC. DHS putting "One of Ours All of Yours"—a Nazi-era collective punishment slogan—on Kristi Noem's podium the day after ICE killed Renee Good. Gregory Bovino's SS-styled photoshoot for CNN that even Gavin Newsom called out as open fascism. This is deliberate signaling. They're testing what the public will tolerate. Each time there's no real consequence, they push further.

ICE and CBP have become the American Gestapo. A paramilitary force operating outside legal command structures with a made-up title—"commander at large"—that has no statutory basis. Masked agents conducting raids on homes, schools, and daycares. Shooting unarmed U.S. citizens and calling them "domestic terrorists." Defying court orders. Suppressing dissent with tear gas and rubber bullets. Targeting people by ethnicity. Ripping children from parents' arms—on video. Bovino personally throwing tear gas at protesters after admitting to a federal judge that he lied about being attacked. Rep. Raskin is now demanding to know how many pardoned January 6th insurrectionists have been given guns and badges.

The VP openly says judges can't control the executive. Trump says "He who saves his Country does not violate any Law."

Courts are pushing back. Millions are protesting. The machinery of authoritarian control is being built and deployed regardless, and protests are being crushed.

Freedom of speech is being coerced into silence by threat of physical violence.

The question now is whether it can be stopped.
