Cat vomitting

I adopted a cat 4 days ago. I’ve been feeding her dry Purina pro plan in the morning and wet at night. I fed her beef pate yesterday and the day before that with no issues. Today, I fed her a different pate flavor (cod, sole, and shrimp). She threw up the food pretty quickly after (two throw ups). I thought it was from playing right after eating but when I gave her a little more of the same food 2 hours later, she threw up again.

As a new and first time owner, it made me extremely upset with worry. I’m guessing she probably just doesn’t agree with this particular seafood pate, but I don’t know. Is this likely it? Should I only feed her the dry food tomorrow in very small portions throughout the day?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
