Baby fever?

I’ve never understood baby fever. I have never looked at a baby and went, “awwh i want one”. And maybe it’s because i never want kids, but I have a friend who has always said she doesn’t want kids, but she gets crazy baby fever. she would send me ai pictures of her babies and tell me how cute it would be to dress them up and coddle them. but say she doesn’t want kids. also personally I don’t find babies cute, some babies can be a little fucked up looking, but its wrong if i say that… and I’ve worked with kids, as a behavioral technician, i loved it, i left because i got really burnt out and the company did nothing to help, like i couldn’t even go to the bathroom. but i would have stayed, it was really rewarding work and to this day i miss those kids, but i dont want kids of my own. id rather shoot my self than have kids.

does anyone understand baby fever?
