Passport Expiry Date Travel

I have a passport valid until May 31. Flying Canada 5–11 Feb Air Canada or WestJet and Hong Kong 13–20 Mar on China Southern Airlines. Will this be OK for boarding?

British passport aware Canada allows 3 months before passport expiry and HK is one month, doing research and reading a lot of conflicting information so wondering is it likely I would get refused entry.

Would rather renew passport my trip to Vancouver
