Misfits Market Food Delivery Service Honest Reviews

Misfits Market claims to offer imperfect food sizes and/or shapes, expired branding, and so on that wouldn't or couldn't be sold in regular stores. What they aren't saying is that they are not offering a discount for off branding or odd sized items. In fact, I just purchased 4 pieces of chicken breast in which they charged me $48. Who pays $48 for 4 regular sized pieces of chicken? No one! They also have their own drivers deliver the boxes and charge you a $4 minimum tip to the driver for each box delivered. I was told the tip is optional, but when you are in the account, there's no way to turn off the tip or zero it out. Misfits Market client care assured me that drivers get these tips and are paid well. But their lack of transparency on their site makes me wonder if the $4 per delivery tip is subsidizing employee's salary.

Product advertised costs seem to change prior to delivery. Why would anyone pay $10 for a bag of $3 chips?

Suggestion is.....Do not use this service unless cost is not a factor in your budget. It is not cheaper and I feel like I've fallen for a scam.
