Reinstall - New SSD - Advice
So I'm loving CachyOS and Linux in general. Had some issues but only really hardware / general Linux issues.
I have decided to upgrade my Linux SDD to give me some more space as I want to use it as my primary OS, while still having Windows as a backup and for the occasional Anti-cheat game. I have separate NTFS drives, but want more native storage to play around with games on Linux without NTFS issues.
I still want to keep NTFS storage as sadly because of the directx12 nvidia bug, those games just run better and smoother on Windows on my 5070ti. Up to 20% better... And HDR works.
Question: If I am going to be reinstalling anyway, should I give others like Fedora a try first?
I have tried Ubuntu, Pop and Mint in the past a few years ago.
I also want to split my OS and /home dir into separate partitions so if I ever need to reinstall, it's less work.
Do I create normal partitions or is it better to use btrfs subvolumes?
