New Punx Band is looking for Voxalist

Hello, a three piece punk band is looking for a vocalist.

We just want to play shows and don't really care about much else. Especially making money.

This project is definitely a passion project, but that doesn't mean it's ever on the backburner.

We try to practice at least twice a month at our space in Bushwick, near Hart Bar.

Our influences are Upchuck, Soul Glo, Mannequin Pussy, Warehouse, Gouge Away, and Ovlov.

We would love to find someone that can project a loud yell or scream for this project with some rasp.

Looking for someone who is chill, focused, and fun. Also you must be a leftist politically. We write songs that line up with that ethos, so we need someone who walks the walk.

We have about 5 songs written but if you have lyrics or song ideas, we are def open to hear about them. Also we don't care if you don't have experience in a band or singing on stage before. If you have the passion and drive, we would love to work with ya.

Two of us were in a band previously that broke up earlier this year due to busy schedules. The third member is a mutual friend we recruited. Can provide samples of previous work if you'd like. Let us know if you any previous work you would like to show as well.

There's two he/him's and 1 they/them. We're all in our early 30's. Two live in Bushwick, and the other lives in Sunset Park.
