How do I remove the P restriction from my license after finishing DWI probation in Fort Bend County Texas?

I completed DWI probation in Fort Bend County Texas and my driver license still shows restriction P from the ignition interlock I believe. The interlock was removed when probation ended last year but DPS never updated my license. I went to renew my license today because it was about to expire and the restriction did not automatically update.

For those who have been through this how did you get the restriction removed. Did you have to go in person to DPS or were you able to do it online. Did you need a specific court order or was proof of probation completion certificate enough?

Also if you were pulled over before getting restriction removed from license did it cause any issues?
