Early entry GotG from Boardwalk Inn

Going to WDW next week for the first time in over 15 years so learning a lot. We're staying at Boardwalk Inn and planning to go to Epcot next Friday 1/23.

We want to make sure we hit GotG first, is it a more efficient use of time to enter from International Gateway and walk over from there, or go to the main entrance since it's a shorter walk?
