So did the disciples and all of Jesus' followers just never go to the temple again after Jesus died and the temple curtain was torn?

Matthew 27:50-51

They wouldn't have needed to right? So did they just stop going all together from that point on? I can't think of the Bible specifically mentioning that, especially the reaction by the Jewish leaders like the Sanhedrin to them stopping all rituals associated with the temple.
