Does anyone make up stories or lore about their coaches and players? Or is it just me?

Sometimes when I playing retro bowl I'll come up with stories for all of my players. I'll make up background stories, locker room drama, heated debates about trades, draft picks, play calls, costly mistakes mid game, etc. all types of things. I just think it's cool and it makes it just a little more immersive idk.

Lately what I've been doing is using chatGPT to generate some pre/post game discussion like NFL spokespeople do on NFL Network/ESPN/etc. I'll have it talk about off-season moves or "training camp" whatever I feel like making up. I'll have it generate some pre/post game interviews with the head coach and the rest of the team. I'll even screenshot my stats and whatnot for chatGPT to talk about it. Then I'll copy and paste whatever it spits out into NotebookLM and make my own podcast talking about my own team I made with my players, how games went, all the drama I made up, everything. It's honestly so cool to me but it's probably dumb to the rest of you all lol. Honestly idek why I'm making this post tbh lol
