Birthday trip in January

Hey! Taking my partner to Salem for their birthday in January and we’ll be staying over in Marblehead. We’re coming from western MA so the cold isn’t a dealbreaker at all. Looking for ideas on what’s actually fun this time of year; especially history stuff, witchy/spooky vibes, museums, walking around spots, etc.

We also like to go out at night (bars, live music, fun hangs... not really looking for college scenes though).

Would love recs for must-eat places, cozy spots, or anything you think is underrated off-season. Appreciate any tips!
