Currently interested in a gaming pc but not sure what to do or where to go from here
I have been interested in doing some type of gaming pc for awhile. I am open to pre builds and making my own but not sure what might be better given how I’ve seen news that prices of things are going up a lot. I would like a pc that wouldn’t become out of date in just a few years, have it be reliable and perform well for a decent amount of years. Performance and longevity are the big things in mind at the budget. I am not sure if longevity and performance are conflicting qualities, like it having higher longevity giving it lower performance or vis versa? I’ve heard things about reliability being an issue and I am hoping to get one where that is not the case. I’m not looking for crazy gaming performance like 4k at all times or even ever really but just perform strong. My budget is roughly around 1,000-1,500 but I am willing to move outside that range if it is really going to make a difference towards what I’m hoping for.
