Navy Physical Therapy

HELP REQUESTED

Hi all, I am 21 and have finished my undergraduate degree. I will be attending physical therapy school this year and was wondering if anyone has gone outside of the Army Baylor DPT route and went through a regular civilian program and if it would be possible for me to commission as an officer in the Navy for Physical Therapy out of a civilian DPT program. Are there any tuition repayment programs that can help with the debt I will be in? I would also like some guidance on the what path I should take to be in less debt out of PT school.

Here is the background: My father just retired from the Navy and got 100% disability so I would receive Chapter 35 and other scholarships. I already used up all of the Post 9/11 GI Bill for my undergraduate degree. This is option 1, remaining single and a dependent under my father.

Option 2: I marry my girlfriend who just finished boot camp and take on whatever scholarships available as I know I won’t be able to take on her GI Bill since she has served for such little time. I just don’t know what benefits we would be able to take on.
