Anyone else not really close with their mom and dad even though they are relatively loving parents?

I am in high school and for a while I’ve had a very distant relationship with my parents. Basically I went through a tough period in my life mentally and to make a long story short I had a lot of fights with my parents during the time I probably never forgave them for. I didn’t appreciate how they were during that period of my life which was probably now 2-3 years ago. During and after this period I started to withdraw and stay in my room as much as I could, coming downstairs as little as possible, and trying to keep conversations between us quick and boring. It’s sad really because I wanted them to leave me alone and over time that’s what happened, they stopped knocking on my door. Soon I barely would interact with my parents outside going downstairs to eat or drink and I was happy with that. It’s been that way for years now and to be honest I’m not totally unhappy with it. It’s a bit sad to think about but idk. My family other than what I spoke about has been very loving and I consider myself pretty fortunate and spoiled in terms of material things. They tried to be there for me I guess during that time in my life but they were pretty ignorant of everything and it made it much worse. I always kept to myself and never really built an emotional connection to my parents and I really have no interest to. I’m honestly just waiting to graduate and probably move across the country or something so I can go through life on my own. I was wondering if this is normal and if anybody has similar experiences with their family.
