Why do I suck?

I have over 7000hrs on PUBG achieved the highest rank on multiple seasons, 4000+ hours on rust and I enjoy and mostly only play games similar to those in terms of gunplay. But man do I just get slammed over and over again, I’ve brought out more than 500m in loot and yet I have less than 10m to show for it, I use util a rat check with stuns and I hit my shots but everyone seems to kill be faster, I wear the best gear I can for the mode I decide to play and run the best ammo. Meta guns meta loadouts meta meta meta, jiggle peek, slow peak, play aggressive, play reserved I do it and try it all yet I NEVER come out on top and I don’t know what to do or how to over come this.

Any help is appreciated, pls don’t just say “skill issue” I am doing something wrong like truly wrong I have to be because I excel at literally every other first person shooter, top 1% in most.
