Trying to reach out to someone who can do something.

So little bit of a backstory, I’ve been playing this game since it first came out on xbox (2015?). I played this game with my dad most nights after school, used to do jobs around the house to buy DLC cars. It’s the one game I stuck with throughout my time growing up and especially after my dad passed in 2017.

I’ve just come home from work tonight to see that I’ve been permanently banned for cheating, and there’s not a single thing which comes to mind.

I used a bot once, in a 1v1 private match vs my friend as we saw it on youtube. Then quickly deleted the entire thing from my PC (malware lol). Surely it’s not bannable in a private match with a friend?? Considering how much content there is based around this.

Anyway, to get to the point, is there anyone on here who can potentially help me in any way. I have so many fond memories within this game, and I don’t want to lose them along with ten years of progress.

Im wondering if there is an issue with bans being spread incorrectly or a little bit too easily for people who aren’t doing anything to gain an advantage. We all know the pressure being placed on epic games to ban the people using bots and lag switches.
