One year unemployment after CS master, am i cooked?

One year unemployment after I graduated with a CS bachelor and master degree. I have been doing some coding/DS-related data annotation gigs and have done some coding freelancing gigs, mostly to pay for my living. But on resume I think they look more like a burden than an asset.

I have only one SWE internship and no paper published. My most industrial-ready SWE skillset is probably MERN stack and some experience in using AWS.

At this point, am i cooked? Or is it still possible to get a decent SWE job? What should I do now?

Recently the internet has been telling me I should learn RAG, Agent or Fine-tuning to land a job. Is it the way to go? Or should I get a new project going to demonstrate my skills as I only have one full-stack project on my resume.
