NC self-employed folks: how you dealing with ACA nightmare?

The 15th is the last day to choose a plan and I’m panicked…trying to figure out if skipping out makes sense. Our rate went up from $800 —> $1200 for a self-employed couple, and that was after our estimated income went dramatically down.

We’re considering going abroad at least part of the year for procedures we need but can’t afford (like teeth removal). Has anyone done medical tourism? Any recs?

Any local protests in the works? 🪧
