Is there such thing as eco friendly or biodegradable soap

Are all soaps at least some way damaging to the environment if used in a camping context , where it would leech into a body of water or directly used in a body of water. If yes , how comes . And if there is a soap that anyone knows that doesn’t do “harm” , and is safe to use outdoors wouldn’t mind some recommendations?
