C/P exam recording

VA Disability Claims :claim:

Next week I go into two c/p exams and I’ve been hearing nothing but nightmare examiners disregarding evidence, minimizing symptoms, and just plain shutting veterans down.

I looked into it a little bit and Texas is a “one party consent” state so I know it’s legal. I guess my question is, has anyone else done this just in case they get a bad examiner who dismisses your very real symptoms/problems?

Would there be any use of it if this did happened, as like evidence of the examiners incompetence or is the vets word against the examiners enough for an HLR or request for a new exam.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Side note: I know it’s not allowed to audio record if there are postings on or in the building prohibiting it. But if not it’s fair game.
