New delhi metro scam

A few weeks ago, I noticed something odd with my Delhi Momentum 2.0 virtual card. Between two completely normal metro journeys, ₹20 was deducted from my balance — with no failed trip, no extra entry, no notification, nothing. It was just gone. ₹20 isn’t a big amount, but that’s not the issue. The real problem is that money can be silently deducted without any explanation in a system that’s supposed to be transparent and reliable. I tried contacting the Delhi Momentum app’s payment gateway support, but no one ever picked up. After that, I filed a complaint through Delhi Metro’s official email and helpline. It’s been 20 days now and I’ve not received any reply, explanation or refund.

If this can happen to me for ₹20, it can easily happen to thousands of users in small amounts that most people won’t even notice. So if you use Momentum 2.0 or virtual metro cards, I’d suggest checking your transaction history carefully.
