Starting UGC NET 2026 (English) Prep Now , Too Late? Need Guidance 🙏

Hi everyone, I’m planning to appear for the UGC NET June–July 2026 attempt with English as my Paper 2 subject. I’m thinking of starting my preparation now and could really use some guidance from seniors and fellow aspirants. My questions are: Is it too late to start preparing now for the June–July 2026 attempt for UGC NET English? Which books/resources are actually necessary for: Paper 1 Paper 2 (English) I want to focus on standard, reliable material and avoid unnecessary book hoarding. I belong to the OBC category , approximately what cutoff should I be aiming for in English? Any tips, study strategies, or common mistakes to avoid for UGC NET English would be really helpful.
