can casuals enjoy this game?

my husband and i love dinosaurs and i love survival games, but i'm a fairly casual gamer and he has very little free time after work. considering how much of this game seems to be just waiting to grow, and being harassed by mixpacks/hackers, should we even bother buying it?

are there more chill servers with sped up growth timers, for example? or is your only chance of seeing adulthood/having a good time having TONS of free time to play regularly?

i know evrima has more going on with the varied diets and nesting, but can legacy still be fun with ai prey/predators or is it too quiet?
