[22/M] Seeking penpals from wherever!

Hey yall! I just joined this subreddit but I have really been wanting to share some human connection with some people lately.

I am currently studying Journalism at my local community college and one thing I love about it is just talking to different people and hearing how their life experiences shape their opinions and understandings about the world. This is an interest I think I will retain even outside of a career in journalism.

Recently, I acquired a Smith Corona Classic 12 typewriter from my girlfriend’s family and it is just an absolute joy to use. I just love how fun it is to click away on. I bought some purple ribbon for it as well so typing has been more colorful as well.

Some background, I’m 22 as stated in the title, and a college student of journalism. I enjoy photography and being outdoors. I love surfing, it is one of the ways that brings me closer than ever to nature. I love talking about people’s philosophy, I hang around a philosophy club at my school and it is just so interesting to hear people’s perspectives. I love music, pretty much everything except pop country. Older country is chill, Chris Stapleton is also chill. A typical day is like jazz, metal, son cubano, alt rock, and 90s hip hop. I also play in a local deathcore band.

All that to say I like talking about a bunch of different things and I enjoy listening as much as I enjoy talking.

P.S I took French in high school and I’m in the process of picking up some Spanish so would also love to practice some. Unfortunately my typewriter is English QWERTY so you will have to interpret without any ç or ñ characters.
