did not agree sa hourly, am i wrong

For background, I do GHL automations and funnel building. Bago pa lang ako, pero I already have a portfolio of mockups. May nakita akong client sa OLJ na nag-reply and sinabi niyang nagustuhan niya yung portfolio ko. I told her na may more than 6 months na akong experience using the platform. Hindi siya nag-reply for a few days, then bumalik siya asking questions about funnels and automations kasi confused daw siya. I helped her out, and I think doon niya nakita na alam ko talaga yung ginagawa ko.

We initially talked sa OLJ, then later lumipat kami sa email. At first, sabi niya 1 funnel lang ang kailangan niya and gusto niya hourly rate na $6.50. Scope was 1 basic funnel with automation, 7-email drip campaign, and fixing her contact list. One-time project lang siya, no ongoing support, build lang talaga. I suggested na gawin na lang project-based para mas clear and easier for both sides.

Later on, nung nag-draft na ako ng proposal and started asking more detailed questions, biglang naging 5 funnels na yung gusto niya—not just pages but full funnels, each with their own automation and drip campaigns. I stood my ground and proposed project-based pricing na $200 total, which is already mababa kasi normally $250 pataas talaga. Willing pa nga akong gawing $100 per funnel since first real build ko sana and partly for experience. Kahit umabot pa ng $500 lang, considering na 5 funnels yun and bawat isa kailangan ng testing.

She then said na pag-iisipan daw niya kasi may nag-build na raw dati sa kanya ng 1 funnel within 4 hours, and mas prefer daw niya hourly para ma-track yung time. I think she expects me to finish all 5 funnels within 20–25+ hours, which would leave me earning around $130–$162.50 lang total, na parang unfair.

I stayed firm sa project-based pricing, lowered it and suggested na we start muna with just the first funnel, yung top priority niya, then saka na lang namin i-assess after. Wala pa siyang reply hanggang ngayon, so waiting pa rin ako.

Was I wrong? Desperate lang talaga ako for my first real project experience. Bago pa lang ako and wala pa akong masyadong leverage. Should I have just sucked it up and accepted it for the sake of experience?
