Is it possible to bring food from the ship to the private islands?

I know this usually isn’t allowed when visiting another country, but since this is a Disney island, are we allowed to bring food with us? We’re asking because we’d like to get off the ship as early as possible and bring something simple like fruit or toast to eat until lunch is served on the island. We’re hoping to avoid the breakfast buffet rush and the crowds in the morning.
