2-week workation in Himachal (March End) - Need suggestions

I am planning a two-week workation in Himachal starting the last week of March and I am looking for advice from anyone who has done a similar trip from Chennai . My plan is to work Monday through Friday, so having a budget hostel or homestay with very reliable WiFi is my priority, and I intend to move to a different place over the weekends to explore more of the region. I would love to hear any recommended itineraries or base locations that have worked well for others, specifically which hostels in places like Bir or Manali truly have stable internet based on recent experiences. I also need to know if it is better to land in Delhi or Chandigarh to get into the mountains quickly and what the night temperatures are typically like during the end of March.
