Booking a ride out in snowdonia and wanted tyre advice (riders who have ridden in snowdonia ideally)

Im new to xc and have always been a bit of an enduro rider (try to be) me and a few friends are looking to do a 100km ride over snowdonia and wondered what tyres would be best suited to this terrain.

The ride will be mostly slate etc so conscious of the risks of puncture. That will rule out my rekon race front and rear.

What tyre would you recommend that going to draggy but still offer good protection on sharp slate etc.

Would vittoria barzo front and mez rear still be under cooking it with the risk of punctures?
