What form do your story ideas originally take?

Apologies for the awkwardly worded question, but I'm kind of curious what other's ideas start out as. Personally, a character concept will come to me first, and from there I do some world building. Plot is usually the last thing I figure out. Occasionally ideas will start of as a circumstance that I then build apon. I figure other writers have different ways of doing this, though.
